Local area around The Greenwood

Cheddar Gorge
– wonderful scenery, superb walks, interesting caves, home of The Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company. Many tourist shops etc.

Wookey Hole – a great day out especially for younger children with a wide variety of activities. My favourite is the Hall of Mirrors. In my opinion it is a bit pricey, but well worth a visit.

Puxton Park – Weston Super Mare. Great for younger children and not far to travel. Small animals, play area, farm shop. Local cider farms – well you are in Somerset where the cider apples grow! Rich's (Watchfield) is the closest and you can try before you buy.
